Mykela is turning 5!

It's so hard to believe that our baby is going to be 5 in a few weeks! It's even harder to believe that she will be going to all day kindergarten in the fall. Where has the time gone? I have been so grateful and extremely lucky to have been able to stay home with her these last 5yrs. I have gotten the chance to watch her grow and enjoyed every last minute of it. The laundry has waited, the dishes have waited, the dusting has waited and so on, just so I could enjoy playing and laughing with my baby. I have heard her say her first word, watched her take her first steps, and been there encouraging her during potty training. I have watched her write her name and listened as she sang her ABC's, watched her dance on stage, make a goal and a touchdown. We have painted and colored, watched her favorite TV shows, gone to grab milkshakes and walked along the beach. We have collected shells and sharks teeth, taken a trip to the zoo and aquarium, gone to the pumpkin patch and or course the park. I can't even tell you how special these last 5yrs have been for me and how proud I am of her. I know that we have many more first to experience as she continues growing and learning, but these first 5yrs of her life have been the most special to me.
